As part of your application in Beyond Borders, you can fill out a "Letter of Motivation".
It is not obligatory for you to fill this out, as we allocate exchange spots based on Grade Point Average (GPA) and fulfilment of language requirements (if relevant). We only include the motivational letter in the case of two students with the exact same GPA applying for the same exchange spot. Although this rarely happens, for your own sake it can be a good idea to fill out.
For this reason, spend a few minutes writing your motivation for going on exchange to that specific university. If you have several prioritized universities, you can choose to focus on one of them and/ or write in general why you wish to study abroad.
Please be aware that you are only allowed to write up to 2000 characters.
