Exchange as an SPS-student

If you're going on exchange and are used to receiving special educational support (SPS) or have specific exam conditions at DTU, the SPS unit can help you prepare for your time abroad.

Special Exam Conditions

If you have been granted special exam conditions at DTU, the SPS unit can write a statement for you describing your specific exam conditions in English. You can use this statement when applying for special exam conditions at your university abroad. This is usually sufficient documentation—often supplemented by your own documentation (which is typically in Danish).
You will need to check the application procedure and deadlines at the university abroad yourself. DTU does not contact your future university on your behalf.
Please contact the SPS unit if you need a statement.

Special Educational Support (SPS)

If you receive SPS at DTU, you can usually continue to receive support while abroad. This might include access to services like an NTSA subscription, continued use of specific software, or study support from KVUC/SRG. You can also receive academic support or have a study mentor, as these services can be provided online from Denmark. The SPS unit can also help arrange other forms of assistance, such as a secretary, practical help, etc.
Feel free to contact the SPS unit if you have any questions or need more information.

Adjustments in Teaching

If you need adjustments in teaching, you generally need to contact the university abroad directly. However, if necessary, the SPS unit can assist with describing your specific needs.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the SPS unit.
