A green journey through Europe can be more than just sustainable, it can be social, fun, and safe. Traveling with fellow students makes the trip more enjoyable and gives you a sense of community. You meet new people, share experiences, and save money through group travel. If you are unsure about taking a night train or worried about traveling long distances alone, being part of a group can completely change the experience. With Go2RAIL – Travel Together, you can plan your route and connect with other students heading to the same destination, turning your journey into a shared adventure.
If you are traveling by train and your journey is delayed or canceled, you have basic passenger rights under EU law. Always check the railway company’s website for the latest compensation policies, as conditions may vary.

If you choose to travel with Interrail, you can get a discounted Interrail Pass with 4–6 travel days to use within a 6 month period. Check out the Interrail Pass for Erasmus+ for prices and benefits.

Tips for a smoother trip:

  • You must purchase your Interrail Pass yourself.
  • Plan your route before departure.
  • Download the Rail Planner App.
  • Remember to book seat reservations.
  • Review the terms and conditions of your pass.
  • Save all tickets and take screenshots of your routes as documentation.

If your Interrail train is delayed or canceled, you can read more about your compensation options. You have the same rights as any EU train passenger.
Note: Interrail is a travel platform, not a train operator, so you must contact the relevant railway company for refunds or rebooking, not Interrail directly.
