A pre-approval of credit transfer, referred to as pre-approval, is your documented proof that the courses you enroll into abroad can be transferred towards your degree at DTU. The pre-approval works as a course enrollment in DTU's systems and for this reason it is also a requirement that you have your pre-approval before the semester starts.
Be sure to read through the Credit Transfer Guide, as well as read what you need to do before, during and after your studies abroad. Please note that it is very important that you read the guide with great attention before you start your pre-approval application and always keep in mind that a credit transfer decision is based on an individual, case-by-case evaluation. In addition, please read through DTU Rules and Regulations on Inside as well as your programme specification.
Please be aware that the processing time for pre-approval of credits are 8 weeks.
