Who can apply?

To be eligible for the grant you must apply for and be nominated to a DTU exchange spot in the EU (EU member states + Iceland, Turkey, and Norway).

As soon as you have been nominated by DTU for an exchange spot, we regard you as an Erasmus+ student. You will automatically be notified when the grant application system opens.

DTU cannot guarantee Erasmus+ funding to all applicants, but usually all Erasmus+ exchanges can be funded. Also please note that we cannot guarantee that the grant is paid out before semester start since we depend on all documentation being at hand before we can issue the grant agreement. So please plan accordingly.

Erasmus Traineeship Grant

Students in the BEng (diplomingeniør) programmes at DTU can apply for the Erasmus+ Traineeship grant, when performing their mandatory traineeship in an EU/EEC country.
Read more about the application procedure here.

Please note that BSc and MSc students cannot apply for this grant type at DTU.

Erasmus+ and MSc thesis
